Hey, I'm Kiley. If you're new around here, welcome. This is a place for honest motherhood, family life, relationships, finding yourself again, and all the little moments in between.
Hi, I'm Kiley. I'm 22 years old, and I became a mother at 19. Today, I'm raising two little girls who have different dads, and motherhood has taught me more about myself than I ever expected.
After I had my oldest, I went through a difficult season. I had to step back, rediscover who I was, and figure out what I wanted my life and my motherhood to look like.
I'm also part of a blended family. My partner has two amazing little ones from a past relationship, so our family looks a little different, but the love is just as real.
This blog is where I share the honest parts of motherhood, family life, relationships, finding yourself again, and all the little moments in between.

Halloween Didn’t Go as Planned, But We Made It Special Anyway
I had spent all October looking for a Halloween event where all the kids could trick-or-treat together. Then hand, foot, and mouth made its way through our house. I was heartbroken, but I still wanted the kids to have a little Halloween magic with us.

We got into costume anyway. Our neighbors handed out candy and let the kids stop at their doors. Then we watched a Halloween movie and decorated cookies together. It wasn’t the night I had pictured, but the kids still had a good time.
I’m still sad they got sick. Having a split household during the holidays is hard, especially when plans change for reasons outside our control. I cried because I wanted everything to be perfect for them, and I hate the thought of disappointing the kids.
But we still found a way to make memories together, and I’m grateful for the neighbors who helped make the night special.
